these are the official rules on the site. And seriously, if you don't read these, you might have some difficulties with your life on this board as well as real life.
REGISTERING
• Here at Millefiore Academy we would like it if you registered with your character's first, middle(if have one), and last name in proper capitalization. That means Jimmy Oliver Stewart instead of JIMBOB, YO! or IHEARTEDWARD<33!!!!!11!111. If you mess up, PM an admin and we'd love to change it for you.
• Currently, the maximum amount of characters is five but you must try to keep them all active. This number is due to be changed at the admin's discretion. At least 2 of your 5 characters must be a canon, even if it is not a major canon.
• When making your application, just remember that nobody's perfect. We don't want any Mary-Sues or Gary-Stues running around the board being all beautiful, smart, nice, athletic, rich, etc. You will be asked to add flaws to your application if you are too MarySue/GaryStu. Relatively normal = prime.
IC RULES
• Please avoid chat speak. It is incredibly irritating as a RPer to try deciphering it and it just makes much more sense to write as though you are literate. Which you probably are.
EX:
Bad: Sammy fcuking pwned bob *lol* & his m8s loled more.
Good: Sammy punched Bob with all the strength he could muster, his body ravished with anger. As soon as his fist connected with Bob's stomach, he let out a sinister chuckle. His baboon-like friends who watched on eagerly laughed too, only following their leader.
And now you have created a decent post. xD
• NO, PLEASE NO GODMODING!!!Godmoding is where to basically control a person character rp style such as: I slapped Henry, and he punched me. You cannot make another character do something this is wrong.
• Death to the one-liner. Detail = Love. We have no set RP style here, whatever you feel more comfortable with, but please no one liners.
• We staff have no problem with you using colour in your posts, but please try to keep the font size readable. It's hard to go find a microscope to read what someone has written. mafioso
• Let's not nag people to RP with us or post, mmkay? We all have lives out of here, and it can be really irritating. If another member is harassing you about this, please PM a staff member with photographic evidence [the print screen key is your friend].
• The rating of the board is PG13 so lets keep it that way people.
OOC RULES
• R-E-S-P-E-C-T! This is the most important rule on the entire board. No fights over which show is better or things like that. Calling someone out their name because of their thoughts will not be tolerated!
• Just advertise in the ad. forum. Don't spam the board because it makes us admins sort of mad.
• Don't be intimidated by the admins and support staff. We're here to help you, and if you've joined, we pretty much love you for thinking this board is good enough to devote your free time to. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, whatever, send it our way and we'll do our best to help you out.
• HAVE FUN AND BE SAFE! You're ready to go play.
